The Fly-In scheduled for 9 March will still take place. The Club invites pilots from surrounding areas to fly to Swellendam and to enjoy breakfast with them – weather permitting. The Club has also extended an invitation to the people of Swellendam to visit the airfield on Saturday.
AEROBATICS POSTPONED TO 30 MARCH
The Sport Aerobatic Club was forced to postpone the first leg of its annual competition to 30 March 2019, due to possible rain storms and inclement weather, but the Fly-In will still take place this weekend.
Those daredevils in their flying machines of the Aerobatics Club will visit the Swellengrebel Flying Club on the last Saturday of the school holidays to test their skills and entertain aviation enthusiasts. The public – and all children – are welcome to visit the Flying Club and watch all the action from close by. Food and drinks will be available during the day.
And the best of all – the Club does not charge an entry fee for the activities.
